About The Role

Part‑time 0.6 post available from 01 June 2026 as a fixed‑term contract funded by the GAMRIF FAILSAFE project until 31 March 2027. Salary will be from £43,482 – £46,049 (pro‑rata per annum) on Grade F, subject to knowledge, skills and experience. The role allows hybrid working, with time on campus and from home.

Contracts Officer

This role is within the Legal Team and works alongside members of Professional Services. It involves effective contractual negotiation and administration for the University’s externally funded research activities, covering commercial, research and education matters. The successful candidate will work independently within a supportive, busy team.

About You

We are looking for an experienced contractor with strong negotiation skills, organisational ability and an eye for detail. Enthusiasm, meticulousness and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment are essential.
