Supply Teacher (Secondary, Computer Science, ICT, or Design and Technology) – Peterborough Area
About the Role
- Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas.
- Type: Flexible opportunities, including daily cover and long-term placements.
- Subjects/Areas: Secondary education roles available, including Computer Science, ICT, or Design and Technology.
- Start Date: Immediate starts available.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable, but we also welcome applications from those with relevant experience or working towards QTS.
- Proactive and Adaptable: Actively adjust to different classroom environments, build rapport with students and staff, and ensure students stay engaged in their learning.
- Relationship Builder: Establish trust and positive relationships with students, particularly those with additional needs.
- Driving Licence: While not essential, having a full driving licence would be beneficial as the role involves travel across the Cambridge area.
- SEN Experience: Experience working with children with SEMH or other special educational needs would be advantageous, but not a requirement.
- Subject Specialism: A background in Computer Science, ICT, or Design and Technology is ideal, particularly in secondary education settings. You may also be asked to teach other subjects depending on your experience.
