Exciting Opportunity for a Tax Senior in Manchester. Our client, a well-established accountancy practice located in the heart of Manchester, is seeking a Tax Advisory Senior to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with opportunities for professional growth and to serve a diverse client base, including owner-managed businesses (OMBs), business owners, and start-ups.
Responsibilities
- Mixed Tax Expertise: contribute to a variety of tax advisory projects covering personal and corporate tax matters, with potential involvement in tax compliance activities.
- Client-Centric Approach: engage with an entrepreneurial client portfolio, including owner-managed businesses and start-ups, providing tailored advice and building trusted relationships.
- Advisory Focus: assist clients with business structuring, tax planning, and regulatory compliance, delivering high-quality advisory services to enable informed decision-making.
- Flexibility with Compliance: leverage a strong tax compliance background while transitioning towards a more advisory-focused role with support and guidance from the firm.
Qualifications & Skills
- Open to candidates studying towards ATT or CTA qualifications, or having recently completed them.
- Strong background in tax (personal, corporate, or mixed) with the ability to apply technical skills across scenarios.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with strong client relationship and communication skills.
