Director, M&A Integrations
The Director, M&A Integrations will be responsible for leading and managing all integration activities across Ryan’s European acquisitions, ensuring the Firm captures the maximum value possible from transactions. This role will serve as the strategic and operational bridge between executive leadership and cross‑functional integration teams, translating integration vision into scalable execution frameworks, governance, and measurable business outcomes across increasingly large and complex acquisitions.
Responsibilities
People
- Provides leadership and direction in the development and execution of integration strategies across European acquisitions.
- Coordinates and project manages the efforts of cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to deliver integration workstreams, initiatives, and projects according to plan.
- Builds strong relationships across executive leadership, functional leaders, and acquired organizations to support successful integration outcomes.
- Leads integration governance processes, including status cadences, escalation management, and cross‑functional alignment.
Client
- Works closely with Ryan leadership and executive stakeholders to create and execute integration strategies and plans for newly acquired companies.
- Partners and collaborates with cross‑functional leaders across Finance, Technology, Operations, Client Services, HR, and other business functions to determine integration priorities, define success metrics, and develop execution plans.
- Translates executive‑level integration vision into practical, actionable implementation frameworks and milestones.
- Tracks progress of integration projects, communicates with key stakeholders, and escalates risks, dependencies, and issues as required.
- Designs and delivers Change Management plans for integrations, including communication, readiness planning, training coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develops and deploys scalable integration frameworks, governance models, templates, and tools to support both high‑volume and large‑scale acquisitions.
- Provides timely status reporting of milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and synergy realization progress to M&A leadership and executive sponsors.
- Supports integrations involving complex technology, systems, and operational alignment challenges, including cross‑border and reverse integration scenarios.

- Liaises and represents both organizations throughout the integration phase to ensure alignment, transparency, and execution momentum.
- Defines and executes mitigation plans to minimize integration risks and business disruption.
- Drives execution and results in a fast‑paced, acquisitive, and evolving business environment.
- Establishes synergy targets and tracks delivery progress across acquisitions.
- Maintains knowledge of integration industry trends and post‑merger integration best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with ten or more years of professional experience in Merger & Acquisition integration, enterprise transformation, or large‑scale cross‑functional program leadership. Five to seven years of direct post‑merger integration experience required, including leading complex integrations from strategy development through execution. Experience supporting cross‑border integrations, enterprise‑scale acquisitions, or highly acquisitive environments preferred. Experience operating within fast‑paced, resource‑constrained, or PE‑backed growth environments strongly preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Experience with project management and integration tracking tools preferred.

This position is responsible for leading cross‑functional integration workstreams and indirect project team members and may require managing direct reports.
