The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well‑established engineering company in Atherstone. This role is within the manufacturing industry, offering a late shift pattern, competitive pay, and long‑term stability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer to secure ongoing work in Atherstone, working on a variety of precision‑engineered components.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain)
• Working with universal bed‑type milling machines and heads
• Machining components from stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing parts to tight tolerances and specifications
• Completing your own quality inspections
• Safely using overhead cranes where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
• Experience with Heidenhain control systems
• Background working with medium to large fabrications and castings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
