About the Role
At Ocado Logistics, our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner. You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like! We use our automated technology to pre‑plan your route and pre‑load your van.
Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. On top of your base pay, you will receive premiums that increase your average hourly earnings to £13.26 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime. All your breaks are paid.

Required Skills & Qualifications
You don’t need any previous experience to join our good‑natured team; just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our training team will do the rest. However, you will need the following:
- Full UK or EU driving licence
- Minimum of 12 months driving experience
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
Some deliveries involve alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer‑facing role, good communication skills are essential.

Contract Details
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
Contracted Days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 working 8‑hour shifts; further information will be provided during pre‑boarding.
Shift: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 12:00 midnight. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay Structure: The position is lunar paid – paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.
Hourly Pay Rates:
- Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £12.75
- Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12
- Sunday Day Premium: £1.28
- Sunday Evening Premium: £2.51
- Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £15.94
- Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £17.06
