Protocol Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and ambitious Year 5 Teacher for a supportive primary school in Slough.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys helping pupils prepare for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2 while building confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations ahead of Year 6.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum
- Creating a positive and challenging learning environment
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Monitoring progress and implementing targeted interventions where needed
- Working closely with colleagues and parents to maximise pupil outcomes
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching within KS2
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge learners
- A collaborative and positive attitude
