Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager with strong experience in operational change. This role is aPermanent role that requires 3 days a week in the offices in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather and understand requirements related to operational needs and system enhancements.
  • Translate and validate these requirements with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and agreement that the scope of work is accurately defined.
  • Evaluate the impact of requirements on existing systems and operational processes to support the development of an effective delivery plan.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, utilising established governance and planning processes, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed timelines and business objectives.
  • Manage operational changes and coordinate training initiatives to support teams during the rollout of new solutions.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure ongoing service availability.
  • Lead incident and problem resolution processes, working closely with third-party support providers where required to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Track and report on service performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all activities.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to obtain cost estimates and timelines in line with the delivery plan.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience of Business requirements gathering and translation into a SOW
  • Understanding of Operational change process management.
  • Experience of Dynamics 365 CRM & Business Central type systems or other similar products.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Azure based platforms and Microsoft product suites.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear notes. This includes the compilation and delivery of presentations to senior stakeholders where necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing demands and adapt to changing priorities
