Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Finatal are currently partnering with a Private Equity backed buy-and-build accountancy firm, currently looking for Director of FP&A to join their team. The business is scaling rapidly, and this hire has been made at a critical time during the business’ growth journey and expansion.
The Role
As Director of FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance for the business. This is a high-impact position, responsible for delivering insightful analysis, driving financial planning processes, and partnering with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making. You’ll lead a team to build robust forecasting models and ensure the business is equipped with the financial insights needed to grow and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FP&A, with a proven track record of delivering impactful financial insights.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of the accountancy or professional services industry.
- Familiarity with CCH and other practice management systems.
- Proficiency in Power BI and financial data modelling.
- Experience working in a private equity-backed, buy-and-build environment.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
