About the Role
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will work directly with hospitals and clinics to deploy and refine enterprise-grade healthcare systems. These include AI-driven patient communication and triage, agent orchestration platforms, and secure, low-latency voice/video systems. This is a hands-on, Python-heavy role focused on building and scaling distributed systems and solving complex, high-impact problems in healthcare AI.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect, build, and scale AI agents for healthcare applications, including LLMs, reinforcement learning, and agent-based architectures.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into robust, scalable production systems.
- Collaborate closely with a small, high-performing team to ship solutions rapidly and iterate based on real-world feedback.
- Solve high-impact problems involving system performance, reliability, and clinical accuracy.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure data layers for healthcare applications.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of senior software engineering experience building complex, production-grade systems.
- Proven ability to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Optional: experience with healthcare, AI, or agentic systems.
- High ownership mindset, able to operate independently in fast-moving, lean environments.
- Low ego, collaborative, and comfortable in a small team setting.
