Position Overview
This high‑energy role focuses on providing expert legal support in structured finance transactions, including securitisation, asset‑backed lending, trade finance, fintech lending, crypto and venture capital investments, as well as structuring, managing and maintaining the firm’s investment vehicles in various jurisdictions. The candidate will lead transactional execution, support the life cycle of each transaction and actively contribute to the advancement of the firm’s business objectives in close cooperation with the business teams and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a reputable law firm or financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Structuring, drafting and execution of structured finance deals, including securitisation, asset‑backed lending, trade finance and fintech lending, as well as crypto and venture capital investments.
- Act as the main legal point of contact during execution, liaising with business teams and external advisors while overseeing legal aspects of each transaction’s lifecycle.
- Oversee each transaction from start to finish, ensuring it stays on track and checking in regularly on progress and compliance.
- Provide day‑to‑day legal support across different teams, helping them understand the legal angles and supporting their broader goals.
- Offer corporate assistance in the structuring, management and maintenance of investment vehicles in various jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of post‑qualification experience.
- Experience working as a lawyer in a finance‑related field.
