My client is an independent Bridging Finance lender with a strong, established presence across the UK. Backed by significant funding, they have a genuine appetite to lend and work closely with SMEs across a wide range of sectors, providing fast, flexible and tailored solutions to support short‑term cashflow needs. The wider group offers a market‑leading SME proposition, giving clients access to a full suite of business finance products.
They are now looking to appoint a Business Development Director to lead their growth across Scotland. In this role, you’ll elevate the lender’s brand in the region, managing and developing both new and existing broker relationships to originate and write new Bridging Finance opportunities. This is predominantly a field‑based position with full autonomy over your diary, supported by access to their Scottish office whenever you choose to use it.
Requirements:
- Previous Business Development experience within Bridging Finance
- An established network across Scotland would be an advantage
- Proven track record in sales with consistent volumes of new business
- Hard-working, ambitious, self-starter with a good attitude
- Team player
