Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join a technically driven wastewater team in Brighton. This hybrid role offers occasional site visits and the chance to make a real impact across multiple treatment projects.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the development of innovative process solutions, delivering cost-effective, efficient wastewater treatment outcomes.
• Produce technical design deliverables including process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies, and commissioning plans.
• Support site operations through performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and implementation of improvement measures.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture.
• Analyse performance data to inform technical solutions and drive continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng/MEng/BSc) or related discipline.
• Ideally Chartered with a relevant professional body.
• 6+ years’ experience in the UK water industry or consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering wastewater treatment projects and operational support.
• Strong technical report writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
• Passionate about innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
