What you will do:
As a Change Risk Manager, you will partner closely with Product and Change teams to provide expert risk insight, guidance, and effective challenge across the change lifecycle. Operating within the centralised Non‑Financial Risk function, you will support the design, implementation, and embedding of strong risk management practices across the bank’s change portfolio. Your work will help ensure that change initiatives are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the bank’s risk appetite.
- Embed the Change Risk Policy and Standards across all product‑related change initiatives, ensuring consistent application and alignment with the bank’s risk framework.
- Establish a trusted Product Risk Partnership Model, building strong, collaborative relationships with Product and Change teams to provide early, constructive challenge on emerging change risks.
- Provide expert risk insight into major product change programmes by reviewing and challenging risk assessments, business cases, delivery approaches and proposed controls.
- Support Product related RCSA activities, contributing to the identification and assessment of key risks, control effectiveness, and potential emerging exposures across the change portfolio.
- Produce clear, high‑quality risk reporting, offering meaningful analysis on trends, themes, issues and cumulative product change risk to enable informed decision‑making, visibility of the bank’s control environment and support continuous improvement in non‑financial risk management.
- Participate actively in change governance forums and Product Governance ensuring decisions are risk‑aware, well‑evidenced and aligned to the bank’s risk appetite.
- Build risk capability across Product and Change, coaching teams to strengthen their understanding of risk principles and helping embed strong, sustainable risk practices.
- Any other duties as required that reasonably fall within the job.

What you will need:
- Experience in Product change, risk management, or operational/NFR roles is preferable.
- Experience operating in a fast‑paced environment, using initiative to solve problem and manage competing priorities.
- Understanding of RCSA processes and control assessments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate risk concepts clearly and without jargon, supporting a positive and transparent risk culture.
- A collaborative mindset and passion / willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved where needed, doing the right thing, making a difference and improving risk practices.
