$100,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr
We’re partnering with a leading international Oil and Gas group looking to appoint a Corporate Counsel to join their high‑performing London legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with strong commercial grounding and sector experience in maritime or shipping industries to step into a role with real impact and visibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising on a broad range of general commercial contracts, including supply, services, procurement, and operational agreements.
- Supporting business units across shipping, energy, and trading functions.
- Providing clear, pragmatic guidance on risk, regulatory considerations, and commercial strategy.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders on cross‑border matters and high‑value commercial projects.
- Contributing to the continuous development of legal processes and best practices within the team.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years PQE, trained in a reputable law firm or in‑house environment.
- Strong grounding in commercial contracts.
- Experience in maritime/shipping, oil & gas, or adjacent sectors.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities.
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships across the organisation.
