Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer on a contracting basis; the role can be operated Outside IR35 and is offering negotiable rates. The client’s office will be located in the Knutsford area and is offering a hybrid working situation. This role will be working within the Nuclear industry and candidates must hold Security clearance.
“
The right candidate will be responsible for the implementation of company, national and international standards as well as preparing specifications, data sheets and issuing enquiry packages to equipment suppliers. You will also be responsible for attending client offices and undertaking site visitations on occasion.
“
Candidates will be required to have a knowledge of applicable industry regulations and standards including CDM, PER, PSSR, CE and UKCA markings, working within a design and engineering environment as well as having experience of equipment’s specifications for a variety of equipment’s types and packages, pipe and valve specifications.
“
For this role candidates will have to have the right to work within the UK already established and be a Sole British National, this is due to the candidates requiring Security clearance to work on the project in question.
