An exciting opportunity for a Mosaic Finance Business Lead to play a key role in shaping and optimising finance systems within a large local authority environment to operated on a hybrid basis (one day per week) in Morden for 6 months (18 month potential).
You’ll act as the bridge between Finance and Technology, leading the configuration, optimisation, and continuous improvement of Mosaic (social care system) to support critical financial processes and decision-making.
The Role
- Lead the finance workstream within Mosaic, ensuring systems align to business and statutory requirements
- Drive process improvements, system configuration, and optimisation across finance operations
- Work closely with Finance, IT, and senior stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions
- Support system upgrades, change, and transformation initiatives
- Ensure robust governance, data integrity, and financial controls within Mosaic
- Manage suppliers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality system outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Mosaic (social care system) – ideally with finance modules
- Proven background as a Business Lead / Systems Lead / Senior Analyst within local government or social care
- Deep understanding of finance processes (billing, charging, payments, reporting)
- Experience delivering system improvements, configuration, and transformation projects
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Knowledge of local authority environments and governance frameworks
