Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join a Design and Manufacturing Company based in Aberdeen. You will be joining a company who boast an impressive range of products available to the global energy market and you will be part of a well–established team who cover all aspects of research and design. Ideally, you will have strong experience in a Design Engineering role, working with 3D modelling software and downhole tool design working from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for downhole tool projects.
• Work from concept through to completion.
• Work with design software (Inventor preferable but flexible).
• Carry out calculations.
• Collaborate with team of Engineers.
• Support existing designs and new product ranges.

Required

• Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 10 years of experience working in a Design Engineering role.
• Experience with Downhole Tooling design.
