Clinical Services Manager (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse to be part of our Clinical Services team – including In House, Woodlands, Community and Specialist Play and Perinatal Services, supporting the leadership, management, development and transformation of Clinical Services at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

The Clinical Services Team cares for babies, children and young people who are staying with us at the Ark including those visiting for events and daycare and the team also support children in their family homes and other community settings. Providing families with choice is central to Noah’s Ark’s care model.

You’ll be based in the Ark – a stunning new building, set in a North London nature reserve. It’s a place of laughter, play and real connection, with an atmosphere that’s both supportive and inclusive.

With passionate individuals who share our passion to improve the lives of seriously unwell children and their families, we’re changing the landscape for Paediatric Palliative Care in North and Central London, North West London as well as Hertfordshire.

Main duties of the job

You will be an experienced nurse who has developed skills in paediatric palliative and clinically complex care, leadership and management. Experience in change management is desirable. You will have excellent clinical and communication skills, be creative and want to make a positive difference to the charity.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will play a crucial role in the continued development of the service and lead the operational delivery of family‑centred care, ensuring the highest possible standards of care for referred babies, children, young people and their families.

You will support the team in providing clinical and holistic care support to babies, children and young people with life‑limiting or life‑trending conditions and their families.
