Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Freight Forwarder position based in Aylesham. The role involves arranging transport and logistics solutions, managing export and forwarding processes, and ensuring the smooth transportation of goods. The Freight Forwarder will handle client communication, manage freight documentation, and work closely with various stakeholders to meet customer requirements while maintaining high service standards. Additional responsibilities include problem-solving logistics challenges and ensuring compliance with customs and freight regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation processes
- Proficiency in Forwarding and Export operations
- Strong Customer Service skills to effectively manage client relationships and inquiries
- Knowledge of logistics procedures and customs regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Relevant education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus
- Proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage
