Fire and Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Attending customer sites across Northern Ireland to carry out scheduled PPM visits on fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and emergency lighting.
• Diagnosing and rectifying reactive faults.
• Carrying out installation and remedial works when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• City & Guilds or equivalent (NVQ Level 3) qualification
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role
• Full clean driving licence
• Excellent communication skills with strong problem‑solving ability
• Flexibility to work overtime and out‑of‑hours on a rota basis
• Overtime paid at time and a half and double time, depending on hours worked
• Laptop and mobile phone provided
