The Opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for a confident and highly motivated General Operative based at Croft Masterblock.
As an Operative you will be expected to operate manufacturing plants and equipment safely and efficiently to maximise production. You will inspect, carry out and ensure that plant routines are adhered to and that the cleanliness of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings and equipment are maintained. This role requires a 24/5 shift pattern (days, nights & afternoons).
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain manufacturing plants and equipment safely.
- Inspect and clean plant mechanisms, areas, adjacent buildings and equipment regularly.
- Ensure adherence to plant routines and site instructions.
- Work within a 3-shift pattern covering days, nights, and afternoons.
Qualifications
- Ability to work varying shift patterns, including morning and night shifts.
- Highly motivated with drive, enthusiasm, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour, including lifting and carrying 20 kg for short distances.
- Ability to drive forklifts and counterbalance.
