Your responsibilities as Site HR Manager

  • Lead all on-site HR activity, aligning people plans with operational goals
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and payroll oversight
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including union engagement
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and workforce capability
  • Partner with leadership to deliver change initiatives and improve performance
  • Strengthen engagement and maintain a positive, inclusive working environment

What we’re looking for in a Site HR Manager

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or operational environment
  • Experience working with trade unions and managing complex ER cases
  • Proven ability to operate in a standalone HR role with strategic input

Working hours: 37.5 or 30 hours per week across 5 days
