We are working with a well‑respected M&E contractor, backed by one of the UK’s largest and longest‑established main contractors, to recruit an M&E Project Manager for a prestigious prison project in Devizes, Wiltshire. The Role
As M&E Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the M&E package on a complex custodial scheme, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead the M&E delivery from pre‑construction through to handover
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and specialist suppliers
- Oversee programme, cost control, procurement, and reporting
- Ensure full compliance with MoJ standards, H&S, and quality procedures
- Work closely with the main contractor and client representatives
- Drive performance, coordination, and technical excellence on site

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager within building services
- Experience delivering large‑scale projects (MoJ/prison experience highly desirable)
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Commercial awareness and programme management capability
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and relevant mechanical qualifications
