Senior Finance Business Partner – Tech – £85-95k – Central London (2 days a week)

My client is a global technology business operating across 25 countries, known for its high-performing and energetic culture. They are looking for a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ambition to progress quickly.

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will drive insight across key strategic initiatives, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and supporting C‑suite decision-making.

You’ll work within the Commercial Finance team, collaborating with teams across Europe and North America, with strong exposure to senior leadership in a fast‑growing global business.

Key responsibilities include analysing revenue pipelines, challenging commercial assumptions, and presenting performance and forecasts to senior executives.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self‑starter with strong commercial acumen, the confidence to influence stakeholders, and a mindset focused on growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Work closely with multiple European markets to consolidate and oversee budgets and forecasts ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to financial governance challenging assumptions where appropriate.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Partner with key business stakeholders to translate commercial strategies into actionable financial plans. Challenge financial assumptions, assess risks, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strategic Modelling: Facilitate discussions with functional leaders to understand business initiatives, break down financial impacts, and articulate how they contribute to long‑term strategic goals.
  • Performance Tracking: Provide consistent financial performance insights particularly around future revenue highlighting any key risks / opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Very confident individual who raises issues and concerns in a professional and timely fashion.
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent – required – 3 to 5 years post-qualified experience ideally
  • Strong analytical mind and quantitative skillset
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Tools, especially Excel
  • Sound financial and business skills, “hands on” attitude, entrepreneurial mind, team spirit
  • Curious problem solver with a strong sense of urgency, responsibility & accountability
  • Excellent written/verbal communication & influencing skills
  • Ability to analyse complex business concepts and documents.
  • Ability to make effective presentations on general topics.

Your background

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with a strong background in finance (3-5 years post qualified experience)

You will be keen to progress your career by taking on a role with greater responsibility where you can influence the strategy of the business.

You will need to be a UK resident

Location

This role will be based in London with flexible working.
