We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector to join their Quality team. The role focuses on ensuring mechanical components, sub-assemblies and finished products meet required engineering, quality and compliance standards, helping to support smooth production and customer expectations.
Quality Inspector – Key responsibilities – Mechanical Engineering
- Inspect incoming mechanical parts against engineering drawings, specifications and purchase order requirements
- Complete in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies
- Identify, record and escalate non-conformances in line with QMS procedures
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when issues arise
- Read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances and specifications accurately
- Help maintain calibration compliance and traceability of inspection equipment
- Accurately log inspection outcomes and quality data within the ERP system
- Support goods-in and goods-out checks during busy periods to prevent delays
Quality Inspector – Essential experience – Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical engineering xwzovoh background or strong hands-on inspection experience
- Confident working with mechanical drawings and tolerances
- Previous experience in quality inspection or mechanical inspection
- Good computer skills
- High attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach
