History & Geography Teacher – SEND (Redhill Area)

£34,398-£48,913 + £5,000 BonusFull-time | Permanent8:15am start | Early Friday finish

Join a new SEND secondary school supporting students aged 11-16 with Autism and associated needs. Small classes, strong support, and a personalised curriculum!

The Role

• Teach History & Geography up to GCSE Level
• Adapt lessons for SEND learners
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team
• Occasional work at nearby satellite site

What You’ll Do

• Deliver tailored Humanities curriculum
• Plan, assess and track progress
• Set personalised learning targets
• Contribute to EHCPs, PEPs & reports
• Manage behaviour calmly and consistently

What You Need

• PGCE / QTS (Essential)
• Ability to teach both subjects to GCSE level
• Experience with SEND or complex needs
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Understanding of Autism
• Resilient, reflective, student-focused
