You’ll have the opportunity to participate in our 9-day fortnight scheme, thriving community groups, varied social and networking events, and extensive professional and technical development schemes. Security

Today’s world requires security to be considered an intrinsic part of a development and not an afterthought or add-on. We have the ability to design buildings, so they are secured proportionally to the client’s needs, right from concept stage.

We view our work as a service rather than a product; supporting a building throughout its entire lifecycle and developing as technology and user expectations evolve.

We are a team of accredited experts, with many years of experience and Members of the Security Institute.

The Role

You’ll work in each of our 3 distinct specialisms:

  • Security risk analysis
  • Physical Security systems (e.g. designing hostile vehicle mitigation solutions, physical barriers such as secure walls, doors etc., and fencing solutions)
  • Electronic security systems (e.g. electronic access control systems, video surveillance systems, intruder detection systems, and command and control equipment)

Your day-to-day tasks will vary, as we’ll expose you to all aspects of our work so you can discover what suits you. You could be:

  • Working on live projects from day one – view some of our exciting projects
  • In a variety of sectors from healthcare to hospitality, mission critical to Government works
  • Developing security need assessments, security strategies and risk assessments to validate the need for security measures
  • Calculating hostile vehicle impact energies and understanding manufacture specifications, standards and best practices
  • Producing detailed designs that incorporate drawings, schedules, schematics and specifications
  • Writing detailed staged reports and requirements
  • Using the latest computer software including Bluebeam, CAD and Revit
  • Presenting design options to clients or design teams
  • Continuing CPD and learning opportunities

A good level of communication is critical for this role as we regularly liaise with project teams, meet clients or end users, and attend collaborative meetings.

You will receive a dedicated mentor and supervisor, and you will receive the best training to support you through your development with us.

Why Work For Us?

You’ll collaborate with the industry’s best, working with a wide range of built-environment specialists.

You’ll be part of progressive and exciting projects, able to experience innovative schemes across all sectors.

You’ll advance your career, your way, thanks to our structured Career Paths framework. We’ll support you in your further professional development though our accredited (through the IET) initial professional development scheme.
