English Teachers Wanted in and across Liverpool!

We are currently welcoming Qualified English Teachers (ECT/ experienced) to join our supportive secondary schools across the Liverpool region. Whether you are ready to start ASAP or are looking for a fresh start after Easter, we have the perfect classroom waiting for you.Role type: Full or Part-Time and Long-Term or Short-Term.

Key Duties:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all ability levels.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive environment.
• Mark student’s work regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Track student progress and use data to inform your future lesson planning.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including GCSEs.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practices and resources.
• Attend staff meetings, departmental briefings, and professional development days.
• Communicate with parents regarding student achievement and areas for growth.
• Supervise students outside of the classroom, such as during break or lunch duties.

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Good communication skills and subject knowledge.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
