We are working with a well-establishedconstruction and offsite manufacturing organisation that deliverscomplex healthcare infrastructure projects across the UK. Due tocontinued growth, they are looking to appoint an MEP ProjectManager to support the delivery of mechanical, electrical andpublic health systems across major projects.
This role will involve coordinating MEP activities frompre-construction through to project delivery, working closely withinternal teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensuresystems are installed, commissioned and delivered in line withprogramme, quality and compliance requirements.
KeyResponsibilities of the MEP ProjectManager
- CoordinateMEP activities across assigned projects
- Workwith pre-construction teams to review designs and support deliveryplanning
- Review drawings and specifications tosupport installation and coordination
- Liaisewith subcontractors and consultants to resolve technicalissues
- Monitor site progress and ensure safetyand quality standards are met
- Supportcommissioning and testing of MEP systems
- Ensure works comply with Building Regulations andhealthcare standards (HBN/HTM where applicable)
- Attend project sites and manufacturing facilities asrequired
Requirements of the MEP ProjectManager
- Strongknowledge of MEP systems within construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings andspecifications
- Experience coordinatingsubcontractors and installation activities
- Good communication and stakeholder managementskills
- Degree or qualification in Mechanical,Electrical or Building Services Engineering preferred
- Experience working on healthcare projects isbeneficial
