Hawthorne Consulting LTD are looking to bring onboard an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
*About the Company*
Hawthorne Consulting Ltd is a Chartered Surveying Practice regulated by the RICS, providing Quantity Surveying, Project Management and CDM Coordination services across a wide range of sectors in Ireland and the UK.
Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments, including large-scale and high-profile projects throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Leading pre- and post-contract cost management on a portfolio of projects. * Preparing cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation. * Advising on procurement routes and contract strategies. * Managing tender processes, analysis and recommendations. * Administering contracts, including valuations, variations and final accounts. * Providing clear cost reporting and advice at each project stage. * Contributing to value engineering and risk management workshops. * Supporting and mentoring junior team members. * Undertaking occasional travel to project sites throughout Ireland and the UK.
*The Successful Candidate Should Have / Be:*
* *10+ years of experience* as a Quantity Surveyor * *Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.** Chartered (MRICS) or working towards chartership. * Strong technical understanding of pre- and post-contract QS services. * Full driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally across Ireland and the UK.
