We’re working exclusively with a growing IT consultancy who are delivering projects for leading UK and global Financial Services and FinTech firms, they have just secured a new partnership with a major UK tech employer and are seeking a Tech Lead with extensive expertise in SQL to join their business on a fixed term basis.

You’ll lead SQL development efforts, design and optimize databases, and ensure robust data solutions for critical business applications. Due to the nature of the work we are looking for someone who can join Immediately or with short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
• ✔ Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance
• ✔ Design and maintain relational databases and data models
• ✔ Perform ETL processes and ensure data integrity
• ✔ Troubleshoot database issues and implement solutions

What We’re Looking For

• ✅ Strong SQL expertise (T-SQL / PL-SQL)
• ✅ Broader database experience with some of the following (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• ✅ Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
• ✅ Understanding of indexes, joins, normalization, and performance tuning
• ✅ Financial services or Fintech experience
