Senior MDM Architect / SME – Match & Merge (Banking)

Experience

10+ years of total IT experience with strong expertise in Master Data Management.

Domain Requirement

Mandatory experience in Banking / Financial Services (BFSI) with exposure to large-scale Customer Domain MDM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and architect Match & Merge strategies for enterprise MDM programs.
• Design and optimize entity matching frameworks using probabilistic and deterministic methods.
• Define and manage match scoring models and threshold tuning.
• Configure and govern Duplicate Suspect Processing (DSP).
• Design auto-merge and manual data steward workflows.
• Define Golden Record and survivorship rules for customer master data.
• Implement merge governance, audit controls, and data quality standards.
• Optimize performance for large-scale data loads and matching processes.
• Review and enhance existing match strategies and MDM configurations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data governance teams.

Core Skills (Must Have)

• Strong expertise in Match & Merge frameworks.
• Probabilistic and deterministic entity matching.
• Match scoring, threshold tuning, and duplicate resolution strategies.
• Duplicate Suspect Processing (DSP) configuration and management.
• Golden Record creation and survivorship rule design.
• Merge governance, auditing, and compliance.

Technical Stack

• IBM InfoSphere MDM (v10 preferred)
• MDM extensions and composite services

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with Agentic AI / automation for MDM processes.
• Experience in hierarchy management and modeling.
• Act as Lead SME / Architect for the Match & Merge stream.
• Mentor and guide technical teams.
• Participate in hiring and team building.
• Provide architecture oversight and strategy recommendations.
