Senior Financial Planning Analyst | Global Specialty Insurer | London
We are working exclusively with a growing global specialty insurer to appoint a Senior Financial Planning Analyst within their Enterprise Performance function. The role sits within a small, high-performing team and offers broad exposure to financial planning, forecasting, and commercial analysis at group level.
The Role
You will support the delivery of the annual business plan and rolling forecasts, assist with variance analysis and management reporting, and help maintain the dashboards and planning tools that underpin decision-making across the business. The position involves regular interaction with senior stakeholders across Finance, Actuarial, and Underwriting, as well as Executive Leadership.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Accountant or part-qualified Actuary with 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Background in finance, FP&A, or actuarial within the specialty (re)insurance sector
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and data modelling capability
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Clear communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
