Step up and take the technical helm of one of the UK’s most iconic digital estates. Currently looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (Digital Platforms – Web / Mobile) to spearhead the engineering roadmap for a high-concurrency national platform. The Mission

• Architectural Sovereignty: Define the technical blueprints for web and mobile ecosystems, ensuring every component is optimised for performance, security, and sub-second latency.
• Engineering Leadership: Act as the bridge between high-level strategy and execution, working deeply with in-house and nearshore squads to ensure code-level adherence to architectural standards.
• Legacy Modernisation: Lead the aggressive transition from monolithic debt to decoupled, cloud-native microservices and server-less architectures.
• Technical Governance: Own the full-stack design lifecycle, producing rigorous HLDs and LLDs while ensuring seamless integration across complex third-party and internal APIs.
• Strategic Alignment: Partner with Enterprise Architects to ensure local technical decisions reinforce global scalability and long-term infrastructure goals.

Your Technical Stack & DNA

• Architecture Tenure: 8+ years as a Technical/Solution Architect, specifically within high-traffic, B2C digital environments.
• Cloud & Modern Web: Deep-rooted expertise in AWS/Azure ecosystems and modern frontend/backend frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Swift/Kotlin).
• Systems Design: Proven track record in building distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and robust integration patterns.
• DevOps Mastery: You don’t just know CI/CD; you understand how to architect for automated testing, containerisation (Kubernetes/Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
• Framework Proficiency: Expert application of TOGAF, UML, or ArchiMate within Agile/SAFe delivery cadences.
• Sector Experience: Experience navigating the complexities of highly regulated sectors (e.g., Finance, Gaming, or Utilities).
