Senior Python Engineer (DevOps)
£500 – £525 pd, Inside IR35

A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join their platform engineering team for a 12 month engagement. This role offers the chance to own a critical CI/CD platform, shape modern supply chain security practices and tackle high-impact performance and security challenges at scale.
You will be working in a high-paced environment, responsible for owning and evolving a Jenkins Shared Library powering multi-language builds (Java/Maven, Node/NPM, Python, Helm, Terraform, containers).
You must have experience in Python Development including building pipelines, maintaining code and working in a DevOps environment.
Essential Experience:
- Advanced Python automation (JSON/YAML processing, tooling scripts).
- Deep Maven/NPM/Python packaging knowledge; exposure to Helm/Terraform and container image metadata.
- 7+ years engineering; 3+ in CI/CD platform or DevSecOps.
- Strong Jenkins + Groovy shared library expertise.
- GCP/AWS/Azure cloud experience
