Software Engineer – SC Cleared – London – Hybrid – £500 to £600 per day
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a brilliant Consultancy to assist with their recruitment of a SC Cleared Software Engineer to join their team working on a large government project in London.
The successful candidate will be a skilled Software Engineer with a strong focus on hands on coding. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust, scalable applications and contributing directly to the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for public sector clients
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Work primarily with C# and JavaScript to build modern, secure systems
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet user needs
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing codebases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards
Requirements:
- Strong experience in software development, with a focus on coding
- Proficiency in C# and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- Experience writing and maintaining production-quality xwzovoh code
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working within or delivering projects for the UK public sector
- Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools
- Understanding of secure coding practices and government standards
- Valid SC Clearance
