Freelance M&E Manager / Building Services Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager / Building Services Manager to join our team on a high-end commercial project in Central London.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a strong project team and take full responsibility for overseeing all mechanical and electrical services installations on site, through to commissioning and final handover.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site
• Coordinate M&E installations to ensure alignment with the project programme
• Review and assess drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
• Chair and lead building services coordination meetings
• Ensure installation quality while maintaining health and safety compliance
• Manage commissioning activities and oversee final system handove

Requirements

• Experience as an M&E Manager / Building Services Manager
• Commercial projects experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services installation
• Strong knowledge of BMS, Lighting control systems
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating services packages
• SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS
