Commercial Finance Manager

Manufacturing | East Yorkshire | £65k + Car + Bonus

Distinct are working with an Employee-owned manufacturing business, who are looking for a commercially focused finance lead to partner with operations and drive performance. You will lead a small finance team, building confidence and commercial awareness.

This role sits at the centre of the business, turning operational data into clear insight and influencing decisions that impact profitability.

The Role:

• Partner with senior leaders and operations to improve performance and profitability
• Translate manufacturing data (scrap, downtime, utilisation, energy) into actionable insight
• Support pricing, margin and customer profitability decisions
• Build forecasts and scenario models to guide decision-making
• Lead and develop a small finance team
• Maintain oversight of reporting, controls and governance

What They Need:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience in manufacturing or operational environments (desirable)
• Strong understanding of cost drivers and performance levers
• Confident influencing non-finance stakeholders
• Able to turn data into clear, commercial recommendations

• Salary of upto £65k
