This role sits within a modern, cloud-first environment, focused on building scalable, event-driven systems on Azure. The team operates in an agile setup, with regular in-person collaboration for sprint planning and key workshops.

About the Role

Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will design and deliver backend services end-to-end, contributing across development, infrastructure, and deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building backend services and APIs using C# / .NET
• Developing cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Working with event-driven architectures and messaging systems
• Deploying containerised applications via Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Collaborating with architects and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions

Key Requirements

• Strong backend development experience using C# / .NET
• Solid Azure experience (AKS, Service Bus, API Manager, etc.)
• Experience working within financial services environments
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Terraform beneficial)
• Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced delivery teams
