Role: IT Manager

Location: Manchester

Work Pattern: Fully On-site

Salary: £45,000-£55,000

A well-established organisation is looking to appoint a practical, technically strong IT Manager to take ownership of technology operations across several sites. This role sits at the heart of the business, blending strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, with particular emphasis on enterprise systems, core infrastructure, and ongoing technology improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations across multiple locations.
• Oversee core business systems, including configuration, support, and improvement.
• Maintain infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Lead IT projects, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Manage suppliers and service delivery.
• Support users and improve IT service standards.
• Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, and system reliability.

Key Requirements

• ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Dynamics NAV) including hands-on support and configuration.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge (servers, networks, storage, cybersecurity) across multi-site environments.
• Experience managing IT staff and leading daily IT operations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and business systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
