This company is a fast-growing, multisite healthcare organisation committed to delivering high‑quality clinical services and outstanding patient experiences. Currently operating at £20m revenue, the business requires a strategic and operationally hands‑on Chief Financial Officer to oversee the business through the next stage of growth, drive financial excellence, and strengthen the organisation’s position as a leading player in the sector. The CFO will act as a key partner to the CEO and Board, playing a central role in shaping strategy, building a scalable finance infrastructure, driving profitability across multiple sites, and ensuring regulatory and commercial integrity across the organisation.

Role Summary

The CFO will lead financial strategy and planning, build a scalable finance function, strengthen controls, and ensure compliant, accurate reporting across all sites. They will drive site‑level performance and commercial optimisation, implement systems to support rapid multisite growth, and partner closely with the CEO and Board on capital allocation, pricing, and expansion. The role includes overseeing fundraising and lender relations, leading M&A execution and integration, and ensuring robust commercial and regulatory oversight across the healthcare business.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven CFO or senior finance leader in a multisite or high-growth environment (healthcare or adjacent consumer services).
  • Successful track record building and scaling a finance function during rapid expansion.
  • Strong M&A experience, including due diligence, deal execution, and post‑acquisition integration.
  • Deep understanding of site-level performance drivers and operational KPIs.
  • Experience with healthcare revenue models, reimbursement, or regulated service environments.
  • Excellent commercial judgement with the ability to influence strategic decisions at board level.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Highly operational and hands-on, with strong command of financial reporting, controls, and systems.
  • Comfortable implementing new systems, processes, and analytical tools to support growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience, pace, and a collaborative approach.
