Salary: £50,000-£75,000 (dependant on experience)

Working from early-stage R&D through to full production, they create cutting-edge technologies that drive innovation in advanced diagnostics and engineering. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team working on cutting-edge diagnostic and life science technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design complex mechanical components and subsystems
- Full product lifecycle – concept generation, detailed design and design for manufacture
- Create and refine 3D CAD models
- Conduct hands-on prototyping, testing and troubleshooting
- Work across multiple projects within a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Manage your own workload to meet project timelines
Key Requirements:
- Strong 3D CAD skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles
- Experience developing electro-mechanical systems, medical devices, diagnostics or precision instruments
- Track record of taking products from concept through to production
- Good understanding of manufacturing techniques
- Hands-on and practical skills – prototyping, testing and troubleshooting
