Location: Oldham, Greater ManchesterSalary: MPS/UPS pro rata (dependent on experience)Contract: Part-Time, Long-TermStart Date: September 2026

We are recruiting a Part-Time Year 5 Teacher for a primary school in Oldham. This is a long-term role suited to a qualified teacher looking for 2-3 days within KS2 from September.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5
• Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records
• Manage classroom behaviour and routines
• Support pupils’ progress toward Year 6 SATs expectations
• Work closely with the wider Year 5/KS2 team on planning and moderation

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
• Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6
• Strong subject knowledge and confident lesson planning
• Available for part-time hours (days to be confirmed with the school)

A fully enhanced DBS and two professional references covering the last two years are required.
