An international Media brand are currently looking for a Group Finance Director to join their team in central London (hybrid). The business boast an impressive portfolio of globally recognised clients and a leading reputation in delivering innovative concepts. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting, while driving continuous improvement in financial governance and systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the month‑end close, group consolidation, and high‑quality management reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across entities.
- Oversee statutory accounts, year‑end audits, and compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, balance sheet integrity, and intercompany processes while maintaining key reconciliations.
- Partner with senior leadership on performance insights, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
- Drive systems, process, and automation improvements while developing a high‑performing finance team and promoting financial best practice.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA equivalent) with substantial PQE in a similar multi‑entity senior Group level role (prior creative Media industry experience highly advantageous). You will have proven ability leading teams and combine excellent technical accounting knowledge with effective communication to influence senior stakeholders.
