Location & Type

Birmingham (South Birmingham)Temporary to Permanent (12 Weeks Initial)

Working Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pmPay Rate: Up to £25 per hour (temporary)Permanent Salary: £36,000 per annumA company van and fuel card will be provided, covering the South Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned central heating installations, servicing and maintenance across social housing properties.
  • Carry out day‑to‑day repairs, servicing and maintenance on heating systems.
  • Complete works within void properties, including refurbishments and renewals.
  • Perform cooker point alterations and radiator relocations.
  • Aim to achieve first‑time fix on all jobs while working within time and budget constraints.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical standards and legal requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Valid Gas Safe Registration
  • Current CCN1 and CEN1 gas qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong experience in gas servicing and maintenance

Desirable

  • Additional gas qualifications (HTR1, CKR1, MET1, WAT1)
  • CSCS card and HAPS test certification
  • NVQ or City & Guilds in Heating Engineering or Plumbing
