Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pmPay Rate: Up to £25 per hour (temporary)Permanent Salary: £36,000 per annumA company van and fuel card will be provided, covering the South Birmingham area.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned central heating installations, servicing and maintenance across social housing properties.
- Carry out day‑to‑day repairs, servicing and maintenance on heating systems.
- Complete works within void properties, including refurbishments and renewals.
- Perform cooker point alterations and radiator relocations.
- Aim to achieve first‑time fix on all jobs while working within time and budget constraints.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical standards and legal requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Valid Gas Safe Registration
- Current CCN1 and CEN1 gas qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong experience in gas servicing and maintenance
Desirable
- Additional gas qualifications (HTR1, CKR1, MET1, WAT1)
- CSCS card and HAPS test certification
- NVQ or City & Guilds in Heating Engineering or Plumbing
