Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Academy and Forum in EMEA in day‑to‑day planning and execution of Academy and Forum programming aligned with OpenAI’s regional Global Affairs priorities.
- Design and execute online and in‑person events across EMEA – such as in‑person trainings, webinars and panel discussions – that reflect the missions of the OpenAI Academy and Forum, also ensuring programming is culturally relevant and locally informed.
- Manage timelines, guest communications, vendors, travel, and follow‑ups for regional activations.
- Track KPIs, participant feedback, and performance metrics, and provide regular internal reporting across initiatives.
- Oversee end‑to‑end event strategy and execution, including programming, complex logistics, budgeting and delivery.
- Manage content roadmaps – oversee the development and scheduling of online OpenAI Academy and Forum events and webinars, ensuring they meet the needs of the community and align with broader organisational objectives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional contributors – collaborate with internal teams, including policy, events, communications, go‑to‑market to ensure impactful initiatives.
- Develop and execute community engagement strategies – create and implement plans to foster a vibrant online and in‑person community.
- Monitor and analyse community metrics – track engagement and feedback to inform continuous improvement of OpenAI Academy and Forum programming.
Requirements
- Event production expertise – hands‑on experience planning and executing both online and in‑person events.
- AI enthusiast – experience working with agents to automate workflows a plus.
- Comfort with tools like Figma, HubSpot.
- Content strategy and coordination skills – ability to oversee content development, manage roadmaps, and ensure a consistent and engaging community experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills – a talent for conveying ideas effectively and working cross‑functionally with both internal teams and external community members.
- Adaptability – the ability to navigate changing priorities while managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Languages – fluency in English, additional EU languages a plus.
