We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Assistant to join a well-established specialist contractor based in SE London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing construction business delivering high‑quality installations across commercial projects in London. The role offers excellent exposure to live project environments and would suit someone organised, logical, and keen to develop a long‑term career within procurement or materials coordination.

The Role

Working closely with the commercial, estimating and operations teams, you will play a key role in supporting procurement activities and ensuring materials are ordered, tracked and delivered efficiently across multiple projects.

This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile information for sample sheets and technical submission sheets
  • Arrange sample submittals to project sites
  • Upload and manage documentation across platforms such as Aconex, Project+, Asite or Dalux
  • Compile and cross‑check materials location and information
  • Maintain accurate project material trackers
  • Order materials and coordinate logistics
  • Track material locations and delivery status
  • Liaise with estimating, pre‑construction, commercial and operations teams

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and proactive — not afraid to engage with different teams and take ownership of tasks.

  • Previous experience in a Procurement Assistant, Buying Assistant, Materials Coordinator, or similar role
  • Experience within construction, fit‑out, interiors or building materials
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Logical and detail‑oriented approach
  • Confident communicator across teams
  • Keen to learn and develop within procurement
  • Experience using platforms such as Aconex, Asite, Dalux or Project+
  • Experience working with construction materials
  • Knowledge of project documentation systems

The Opportunity

  • Salary of £36,000–£38,000
  • Office‑based role in SE London (5 days per week)
