Lithuanian Speaking Nurse

We are recruiting a Lithuanian-speaking Nurse to lead a small care team supporting an adult living with complex health needs following a brain injury and spinal injury. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to build a strong therapeutic relationship and guide a consistent care team around the client.
About the Client
The client is currently living in a Level 2 rehabilitation facility and will eventually be returning home, where care needs will evolve. Their clinical presentation includes:
- Brain injury and spinal injury
- PEG for food and medications
- Significant ongoing pain
The ideal Nurse will be confident in delivering complex clinical care, supporting emotional wellbeing, and leading a team with compassion and structure.
Your Role
- Act as the Lead Nurse on shift, supporting a small care team
- Deliver safe, effective care in line with clinical requirements
- Ensure consistent communication with the wider MDT
- Monitor progress, mood, pain levels, and tolerance to diet changes
- Promote dignity, comfort, and stability for the client
- Provide sensitive guidance and direction to support workers
Working Hours
Initially:
- Daily shifts at the rehab facility:
- 7:00am–2:30pm
- 2:30pm–10:00pm
Future:
- Expected transition to 12‑hour shifts once the client returns home
- Potential patterns: 7/7 or 8/8 rotation
- Timescale for this change is still being finalised
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (NMC)
- Fluent Lithuanian speaker – essential
- Experience with brain injury and/or spinal injury (preferred)
- Confident delivering PEG care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm, patient, and able to support someone with sensory sensitivities and low mood
- A proactive, compassionate approach to complex care
- Clean driving license
