Building Control Manager

Looking for your next move? I’m working with a well-established RBCA who are on the hunt for a Regional Manager to support their northern team of qualified, experienced inspectors.

What you won’t have to deal with

• No team that’s been left without direction – this group is already settled and working well.
• No building a client base from scratch – the clients are long-standing and loyal.
• No firefighting because of empty roles – the team is fully staffed (but you can grow it if you want to!).
• No trying to figure out what’s happening – you’ll get a proper handover so you know exactly what’s going well and what can improve.

What the role does look like

• Mostly commercial projects.
• Ideally you’ll be registered for BSR Gateway projects and sitting at least at Class 2F, with the desire to increase your classification.
• Management experience ideally – but you’ll also get great mentoring and support so previous team leadership experience will set you up nicely for this role.
• A nice balance of technical involvement and people leadership.
• No pressure to bring clients with you, and no personal BD targets.
• Basically, if you’re confident in your technical ability as an inspector and you enjoy getting the best out of people in a post BSR safety act environment, this would be a great fit.
